How often will I receive trade recommendations?

Trade recommendations are sent when a new trading opportunity is triggered in each particular service. Based upon the average number of trades per month for each service, you can estimate the average number of days between each trade depending on your subscription. Please note that our average number of trades is based on a full annual subscription period.

What is the Weekly Market Outlook?

The Weekly Market Outlook is our free newsletter that is published every Monday morning. It contains a selection of our weekly featured articles as well as our proprietary TrendScore to time the five major asset classes.

What if I need to cancel a subscription?

You may cancel your subscription to BigTrends by notifying our Accounting Department in writing at [email protected].

How to Use our Trading Courses

How do I access my digital content?

To access any digital on-demand course that you have purchased, go to and log in with your email address and password. Upon login, you'll find your courses under the "Member Education" tab. If you don't have a password, please go to to generate a new one or contact us at [email protected] to do it for you.

What is the return policy on Educational Products?

Member Account Information

I am having trouble accessing the "My Account" tab on the membership site. What do I do?

To view 'My Account' and update your information, your internet browser must allow third party cookies. This preference can be changed in your browser's options panel.

I am signed up for e-mails but am not receiving them. Why?

To ensure you receive BigTrends trade alerts and other paid subscription material, as well as our Weekly Market Outlook and Mid-Week Video Update, please add us to your address book to whitelist our e-mails. If we are not in your address book, your e-mail provider may send our mails to your spam folder. You can find directions for your e-mail provider here.

If you are still not receiving our communications, then you may have accidentally unsubscribed or opted out of our e-mails. To remedy this problem, go to and re-register your e-mail address, name and phone number. This will automatically opt you back into our mails without affecting any of your other services.

How do I locate my paid services?

All paid services or online educational materials are available from the membership dashboard of your Insider Account. Once logged in, you can navigate to your purchased product via the "Member Education" and "Member Newsletter" tabs at the top of the screen. Only services you are subscribed to or online educational material you have purchased will be visible.

How do I access BigTrends on my mobile device?

When you go to on your mobile device, our site will automatically format itself to accommodate your chosen viewing method, making BigTrends fully accessible at all times.

I have a trial or subscription to a BigTrends service. How do I find out the expiration date?

To find your expiration dates, please navigate to the "My Account" tab in your BigTrends Insider Account.

I have forgotten my password. Can you e-mail it to me?

If you forget your password, we can e-mail it to you immediately if you contact [email protected].

How do I change my e-mail or any other Insider Account information?

To change or update your account's e-mail address or any other Insider Account information, contact [email protected].

How do I change my password?

You can change or update your password at any time by logging into your account and choosing the 'My Account' tab from the main navigation. Once there, move to the "Update Password" section and simply enter your preferred password twice in the boxes provided.

How to Use the BigTrends Website

How do I log into my Insider Account?

To log into your Insider Account, navigate to the login tab at the top of the homepage ( and enter your e-mail address and password in the boxes provided. Alternatively, go to and enter your email address and password.

How do I whitelist your e-mail addresses to ensure delivery?

We don't want you to miss a thing. To ensure you receive your Weekly Market Outlook, invitations to online events or trade recommendations, you must add us to your address book. This is called whitelisting. To see instructions for your e-mail provider please click here.

How do I find a specific topic that I'm looking for?

Our analysts constantly monitor stocks, ETFs, options, currency markets and more. As a result you have a large database of research and market knowledge available in just a few clicks. Our most recent articles are featured centrally on the BigTrends homepage with all other articles organized under related headings in the "Price Points" section. You can also use the search bar which is located at the top right-hand corner of the screen.

How can I stop receiving advertisement e-mails from your partners?

From time to time we will send a partner offer to you but this will only happen if we believe there is value in it. At no time is your e-mail or information shared with any third party advertiser. If you wish to unsubscribe please navigate to the bottom of the offer e-mail and click "unsubscribe."

How can I stop receiving your e-mail newsletters?

If you wish to stop receiving any of our newsletters or exclusive invitations, simply navigate to the bottom of any e-mail and click on the "unsubscribe" link to instantly modify your e-mail preferences.

Toolkit Troubleshooting

I purchased a digital BigTrends Toolkit but cannot find it. How do I gain access to it?

If you have purchased a digital BigTrends Toolkit (for TradeStation or thinkorswim), log in to your Insider Account and navigate to the Member Education tab at the top of the screen. Click this tab and select whichever Toolkit you purchased from the bottom of the dropdown. From there, follow the directions on-screen to download your BigTrends Toolkit in minutes.

How do I find my BigTrends indicators on my trading platform?

Once you download all of your indicators for your trading platform, they are very simple to find. For TradeStation, open any chart and right click. From the resulting menu, select "Insert Analysis Technique" and in the next window, navigate to the "Indicators" tab. Every one of our indicators starts with "BigTrends" and once you find them, apply them as you would any other indicator. The only exception to this rule is our Percent R strategy which you can find under the name "Percent R Breakout."

For thinkorswim, navigate to the "Charts" tab at the top of the screen and select "Studies." Here you will find all of your BigTrends indicators, again all starting with the words "BigTrends." For our Percent R strategies, click on the "Strategies" tab in the "Charts" dropdown.

After applying my chosen indicator in TradeStation, my screen turned blurry. Why?

BigTrends indicators fall into two categories-those to be used on charts and those that are used on radar screens. If, for example, you were to apply a %R Scan or CCI Scan to a chart, this blurring would occur since this scan is intended for radar screens. If the blurring does not occur, you have the correct type of indicator for the screen you are using.

A red, lower case "e" appeared in a column on my chart when I applied the Acceleration Bands indicator. How do I fix it?

This red "e" simply stands for error and will appear on your chart if you have applied the indicator with the incorrect settings. The error will occur because the settings you are using are not allowing TradeStation to pull sufficient data for Acceleration Bands to function.

To fix this issue, right click on top of the column and select "Format." From here, go to "Analysis Techniques." Under the general tab, there will be a cell where you can set the maximum amount of bars that the study will reference. Set this to a minimum of 150 and the red "e" will disappear.

My Toolkit is working fine but I have technical questions about my trading platform. Who do I contact?

If your BigTrends Toolkit is installed and running correctly but you are having difficulty using your trading platform, then you need to contact the customer support service for your chosen software. Click here to find the details for your provider.
